This is a card I made for our stamp club. Our hostess for the month chose the retired Simply Soft stamp set to use for this card. I used Versamark to create the pattern of the background on the blue squares. Otherwise, it was a pretty simple card to make! I'll sure miss Baja Breeze as a color though...
I do have to admit - I'm not a fan of the sentiment I chose - it doesn't quite fit this card. For the club cards, we use the Petite Pairs "happy birthday wishes" stamp and it looked much better. more delicate.
For the flower - I stamped the outline using Staz-on black so it wouldn't smear when adding the other colors. I then stamped the Baja Breeze blue of the flower and used my So Saffron and Wild Wasabi markers to color in the rest.
Stamps: Bring on the Cake, Simply Soft
Ink: So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Wild Wasabi, Versamark, Stazon Black
Paper: Whisper White, So Saffron, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Baja Breeze Ribbon, Oval Framelits

Happy Anniversary
It's been WAY too long since I've posted. Life has just gotten in the way with 2 little ones. We've been busy with ISR swim lessons (www.infantswim.com). Now my 10 month old can float should she ever fall in the pool and my 2.5 yr old can swim to the side to pull himself out and float when he needs to breathe and rest should he ever fall in. Anyway - my parents just celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for them, based of of a card I saw on Pinterest, with my own modifications (I don't think my dad would've been too big of a fan of pink!). I sponged the edges of all pieces heavily in crumb cake to give it the older look - I love how it turned out! Then I punched out the Full Heart and used the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to make it sticky to add the Dazzling Diamonds glitter to it. You gotta have some sparkle in life! The Love on the little heart was stamped from an old retired set, I don't know the name of it. The Navy strip down the middle is embossed with Adorning Accents heart embossing folder. The middle sized heart is embossed with the woodgrain embossing folder.

Sale-A-Bration Card
My up-line (Allison Ohran) gave us a little box full of Sale-A-Bration items with ribbons, buttons, petite curly label punched and stamped pieces of paper, and told us to create a card. This is what I came up with.
Paper: SAB Sycamore Street DSP, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo
Ink: Island Indigo

Accessories: SAB Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral Bakers Twine

Post It Note Holders
While in craft fair mode, here are a couple of Post It Note holders I've been making. They are just 5x7 clear acrylic frames, and I just Mod-Podged some fun scrapbook paper over the frame. I embellished a bit (I'm still working on making it fancier, but this works for now), and added a "Just A Note" stamp that I randomly found at JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby or Michaels (I don't remember where). They were easy to make, the hardest part was to figure out how to embellish them!

I've been into doing cards/tags with just 2 colors lately. Here are a couple of tags I came up with using the Two Tags Big Shot Die. I've been prepping for a craft fair, so I've been making an abundance of things.

Paper: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Grey
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Two Tags Big Shot Die, Floral Fusion Sizzix Die, 1 3/4" Scallop Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Wisteria Wonder Ruffled Ribbon

Happy Valentine's Day!
I decided to be an overachiever and make all the Valentine's for my son's class (he's 2 and a half). Since he's obsessed with anything transportation, I thought the I Dig You stamp set would make adorable Valentines, and it did! I just tied the tag onto the Skittles (once I punched a tiny hole) with Cherry Cobbler and Early Expresso Bakers Twine. I could've gotten more creative and made the tires black, but I just barely got these out in time. I also made little teacher gifts using the Valentine Bundle (stamp and bag set), nothing fancy or really creative for this one.
Stamp Sets: I Dig You, Valentine Bundle
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose
Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose
Accessories: Small Heart Punch, Two Tags Bigz Die, Discontinued Heart Trio punch (not sure of the official name of this), Cherry Cobbler & Early Expresso Bakers Twine, Stamping Sponges, Big Shot, 1" x 8" Cellophane Bags.
